Volketswil, 21 September 2021 – Der Supply Chain Execution Spezialist Zetes hat über 2.200 Verkaufsstellen der Schweizer Coop-Gruppe mit mobilen Computern ausgestattet. Bei den Geräten handelt es sich um 10.000 Personal Shopper vom Typ Zebra PS20 für Kundinnen und Kunden, sowie 13.500 Handhelds vom Typ Datalogic Memor 20 für Mitarbeitende in den Verkaufsstellen. Ziel war es, alte Gerätegenerationen, die bereits von Zetes geliefert wurden, auszutauschen, um einen reibungslosen Betrieb in den Verkaufsstellen zu gewährleisten.

Die Coop Genossenschaft gehört zu den größten Einzel- und Großhandelsunternehmen der Schweiz. Sie ist als Genossenschaft mit rund 2,5 Millionen Mitgliedern organisiert. Mit fast 91.000 Mitarbeitenden erwirtschaftete die Coop-Gruppe 2020 einen Gesamtumsatz von 30.2 Milliarden Franken. Zetes ist seit 2009 Hardware-Partner von Coop und hatte bereits die bisherigen Lösungen geliefert, die nun schrittweise durch die neuen Terminals ersetzt werden.

Die Datalogic-Handhelds im Smartphone-Format sind für das Verkaufspersonal in den Supermärkten bestimmt, die damit die Bestände in den Regalen und im Lager genau pflegen können. Die Full-Touch-Handhelds mit dem Android-Betriebssystem verfügen über eine leistungsstarke 2D-Megapixel-Scan-Engine, mit der alle Produkt-Barcodes schnell gescannt werden können. So können die Mitarbeiter sofort und in Echtzeit die aktuellen Lagerbestände abrufen und bei Bedarf Korrekturen vornehmen.
