Der 3. Oktober ist ein besonderes Datum für unsere Demokratie, an dem wir in diesem Jahr dankbar 30 Jahre Deutsche Einheit Revue passieren lassen konnten. Anlass für den Verein Aktion Liebe Deinen Nächsten e.V., mit einem Aktionstag gegen Diskriminierung und Rassismus auf dem Opernplatz Hannover erneut ein Zeichen für Demokratie, Respekt und Menschenwürde zu setzen. Mit der Foto-Wanderausstellung „Sei eine Stimme“ und begleitenden Podiumsgesprächen sowie musikalischem Programm präsentierte der Verein kurzweiliges, buntes und vor allem Demokratie förderndes Bühnenprogramm.

Sei eine Stimme ist ein Foto-Wanderausstellungsprojekt gegen Diskriminierung, Rassismus und Rechtsextremismus, das Fair Play Preisträger Martin Rietsch im Zuge seines langjährigen Engagements gegen Gewalt bzw. für Respekt im Umgang mit Vielfalt initiierte. Die Ausstellung präsentiert Persönlichkeiten des öffentlichen Lebens aus Sport, Unterhaltung, Wissenschaft und Politik mit individuellen Statements rund um die Ausstellungsthemen. Als Live-Stimmen teilen sie im Begleitprogramm an den jeweiligen Ausstellungsstandorten persönliche Erfahrungen und Perspektiven. Nach Vorbild der Exponate kann jede/r Besucher/in selbst Teil der Ausstellung werden und sich unter dem Motto #erhebdeinestimme mit eigenem Statement positionieren.
