(Mynewsdesk) München, 27. September 2019 - Die bayerischen Volksbanken und Raiffeisenbanken haben ihre Journalistenpreise für herausragende publizistische Arbeiten vergeben. Die drei mit insgesamt 20.000 Euro dotierten Auszeichnungen gingen an Vanessa Lünenschloß und Jan Zimmermann vom Bayerischen Rundfunk, Reporterin Angelika Kleinhenz von der Main-Post sowie die freie Journalistin und „Krautreporterin“ Katharina Mau. Eine Experten-Jury hatte ihre Beiträge aus 60 Bewerbungen ausgewählt.

Die 236 Volksbanken und Raiffeisenbanken vergeben die Preise seit dem Jahr 2012 an Journalistinnen und Journalisten aus dem Freistaat. Der Präsident des Genossenschaftsverbands Bayern (GVB), Jürgen Gros, gratulierte den Preisträgern bei der heutigen Festveranstaltung im Münchner Literaturhaus und würdigte ihre Leistung: „Die Jury hat treffsicher ausgewählt: Die prämierten Beiträge sind am Puls der Zeit. Emotional, relevant, informativ, faktensicher – so wie ich Medien mag“, sagte Gros am Abend vor rund 100 Gästen.
