Die Auszeichung "Hutträger das Jahres" wird seit 2013 vom Hutverband GDH e.V. verliehen.

Jan Josef Liefers und Johannes Oerding sind Musiker. Weitere Gemeinsamkeit: Sie sind Hutträger! Mit Leidenschaft tragen sie trendige Hüte und Mützen. Dafür wurden beide durch den Hutverband GDH e.V. mit dem goldenen Hut-Award zum "Hutträger des Jahres" prämiert. Jan Josef Liefers 2016 und Johannes Oerding 2019. Seit 2013 wird der goldenen Hut-Award verliehen.
