Paderborn, 2. Januar 2020 - Händler können sich mit den technischen Sicherheitseinrichtungen (TSE) von Diebold Nixdorf nachhaltig sicher fühlen. Das Bundesamt für Sicherheit in der Informationstechnik (BSI) hat den TSEs von Diebold Nixdorf eine Zertifizierungslaufzeit von sieben Jahren bestätigt. Die TSE-Lösungen gibt es als universellen, Kassenhardware unabhängigen TSE-USB-Stick oder als fest verbaute TSE-embedded Komponente. Hinzu kommt eine Server-basierte TSE-Connect Box. Sie erfüllen die Anforderungen der Kassensicherungsverordnung. Sie besagt, dass Registrierkassen und Kassensysteme in Deutschland ab dem 1. Januar 2020 mit einem Manipulationsschutz ausgestattet sein müssen. Für den rechtskonformen Einsatz ist ein Nachweis nötig, dass sie den Sicherheits- und Interoperabilitätsanforderungen des BSI entspricht. Mit der Zertifizierung ist dies gewährleistet.

Voraussetzung für diese Zertifizierung war eine technische Prüfung gemäß der Sicherheitskriterien und technischen Richtlinien des Zertifizierungsprogramm des BSI. Zu den ersten technischen Sicherheitseinrichtungen, die eine BSI-Zertifizierung erhalten haben, zählt auch die Firma Swissbit. Da die Diebold Nixdorf TSE die Cryptotechnologie von Swissbit verwendet, sind auch Diebold Nixdorfs Produkte unter der Zulassungsnummer BSI-K-TR-0362 registriert.
